Co-ventures with steam supply companies (MARUSAN-AI CO.,Ltd and Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd.)

At the Tanigawa Plant, we have begun a new venture to supply steam via power generation. Until now, individual companies in the industrial complex have been producing the steam required for the heating of raw ingredients via their respective boilers. By switching over to steam that is supplied by the power plant, we will be able to reduce fuel consumption and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.
